I put new Martin strings on it and they sound great. They are very nice and usually sell for $100 + alone. The learning books that came with it were from the 70s as well as the case which was in poor condition and is no longer with us! The tuners have been replaced with Vintage West German Schaellers I got in on a Gibson trade. I think they were made in Japan as well, info is minimal at best that I can find on Google.
